Netflix ने भारत के rural और low-data users के लिए नया ‘Super Lite Mode’ launch किया है जिसमें users सिर्फ 100 MB प्रति घंटे में वीडियो देख सकते हैं। यह feature low bandwidth areas के लिए optimized है और इससे Netflix को छोटे शहरों में और reach मिलेगी।
Company ने बताया कि वह regional content को भी और बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं और Bhojpuri, Marathi और Haryanvi में exclusive shows ला रहे हैं। Analysts का मानना है कि यह move Amazon Prime और Hotstar के लिए चुनौती बन सकता है।
